The app is fine, it provides a password manager, but it doesn't handle online with no route to host server scenarios; ideally my locally cached data would still be accessible using my master password and biometrics, but they aren't. It also doesn't allow offline (or online, no connection to host) password creation, it will create the password, but doesn't save and sync on connect as I would expect, it just times out.

Good to use till Bitwarden's system insists your password is incorrect and you have no choice but to delete your account losing access to all your saved passwords in the process. Good for personal passwords, will not recommend for business/ sensitive information.

The app is slow and I've never had it pop up an auto fill, always have to use copy and paste by changing apps. And then it prompts me to save it in Bitwarden

Highly recommend. I gave up on LastPass ever since they were sucked up by big corporation and jacked up their price. Bitwarden has my vote. It stumbles a lot on auto fill but it's manageable and I have seen improvements. Looking forward to improvements as we go along. Note to devs - please worry most about function and less about aesthetics. I just want it to work. Psst... MaterialYou sucks.

Would benefit by saving drafts or not killing the edit screen when the device locks. I've messed up passwords because it doesn't save, and kills the UI before the user can save

A number of sites that caused no problems for LastPass have BitWarden filling in the user name in both the user name field and the password field. The developers pass the buck, blaming the way the sites are set up, but I point to the fact that LastPass had no problems. Bad support, but with LastPass now requiring a paid subscription for syncing, just have to put up with the problem until they/I find a way around the problem. Now, since Android 14, unable to set auto-fill services.
